Samsung & LG Achieve the Highest Growth

Samsung and LG to grow by taking market share Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Motorola. Volume of global handset sales in 2009 fell 5.2 percent to 1.13 billion units, from 1.19 billion units in 2008.

Year 2009 was a year of gray for the global mobile industry. As a result of the crisis hit, the world’s consumers put off buying a new phone so that the global mobile phone sales volume drops. However, in the midst of these bleak conditions, there are two mobile phone producers are able to steal growth. They are Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and LG Electronics Inc.

In 2009, Samsung and Motorola to increase the volume of global handset sales to them, and took market share from competitors such as Nokia Corp., Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB, and Motorola Inc.. In a recent report, research firm International Data Corp. (IDC) found that the volume of global handset sales in 2009 fell 5.2 percent to 1.13 billion units, from 1.19 billion units in 2008. IDC confirmed, the decrease in sales volume due to the impact of the global financial crisis. In 2009 Nokia still dominates the global mobile phone market with a share of 38.3 percent.

Droid Will Upgrade to Android 2.1

One of Motorola’s smartphone sales continue to climb, Droid, reportedly will undergo change, especially changes in the operating system.

The News sounded Motorola will increase the class’s Android OS to Android 2.1. This issue is discussed crowded, after Motorola in Facebook status led to a change in their OS in the mobile phone is also known as Milestone.

“Happy because the upgrade to Droid (Android) 2.1 will begin this week,” wrote Nokia on Facebook, which quoted from Engadget, Tuesday (9/2/2010).

Mac OS X can run in Nokia N900

Recently, a hacker claimed to have completed ‘project’ latest, by breaking into one of the Nokia mobile phone series, the N900. As a result, the N900 should use Maemo operating system, now even running with Mac OS X.

Nokia can Decrease Price 10%, If World Economic Can Recover

Global economic recovery make some industries such as wireless communication devices slowly began to return cash surplus to finance them. Not just pieces of the world mobile phone leader, Nokia.

Even profits began to improve, making the Finnish vendor could have cut the price of smart phones, in order to compete from competitors Samsung and Sony Ericsson’s market power in the middle.

Google’s Chrome Dreams on Tablet OS
