Acer Will Release Smart Phone in 2010

acer-smartphoneAcer plans to release eight to 10 kinds of smart phones (smartphones) in 2010. Estimated from the 10 mobile phone-based mobile phone is dominated by the Android operating system.

eTouch Targeted 30 percent of sales Increase

Smartphone Become Cheaper in the Next Year

The wireless chip industry is optimistic the smartphone market will continue to grow, even until next year. This was confirmed by micro-chip design companies from the UK, ARM.

Reported by Reuters on Friday (20/11/2009), Smartphones market is growing quite slowly in the third quarter of this year. But chipmakers are sure if the smartphone gives a pretty good enlightenment on the chip industry. Even the slowing growth this quarter is only temporary.

This chipmakers statement trustworthy. The reason, they chip product, which is used in smartphones sold in advance, approximately a week or a month before the smartphone sold to consumers

“Growing smartphone market this year. And the continuity of this growth will be seen more quickly next year,” said Tim Score ARM CFO. ARM itself is now designing a chip that is used in 90 percent of mobile phones, including the iPhone’s phone, and Nokia N900.

IMO Release Smartphone Android 2.0 in End This Year

However, IMO the first products using the S900 still has not Android 1.5 Android 2.0 which is the latest version now.

“Last year we prepared a Android handset again.’s Use Android 2.0 and Maps,” said Sarwo Wargono, President Director of PT content Indomedia Pratama (IMO) IMO S900 at the launch in Jakarta, Wednesday (18/11).

Compared to the previous version, Android 2.0 has features and better performance. Include the availability of the API (application programming interface) only for the synchronization and Bluetooth. Android 2.0 also supports multiple accounts and additional features such as scene on camera mode, digital zoom, color effects, white balance, and macro. Internet browsers are available in Android 2.0 also already supports HTML5.
