HP Buy 3Com with Value USD2,7 millions

The world’s largest computer company, HP has agreed with 3Com to make acquisitions. Network company was bought HP worth $ 2, 7 billion.

“The purchase is automatically 3Com will support our strategy of convergent infrastructure and strengthen the company in the competitive network industries. Incidentally officer ranks of directors of both companies have agreed on this acquisition,” said GM Networking Enterprise Server and HP Dave Donatelli, as quoted by AFP on Thursday ( 12/11/2009).

3Com will be utilized to complement Hp business package offers a combine datacenter servers, storage, networking, management and services.


Currently 3Com, which was founded in 1979 in this Masschusset already has several brands such as H3C in China, also a computer security business called TippingPoint.

In the deal, 3Com shareholders will receive shares of each $ 7, 9 per share. The acquisition is expected to be closed by mid next year, after obtaining regulatory approval.
