Google has added two new features in Google Latitude, which is Google Location History and Google Location Alerts.

“Both of these features we added in response to the needs of Google users who wish Latitude can be upgraded for the better,” said Google engineer Chris Lambert, as quoted by Yahoo Tech, Thursday (12/11/2009).

According to Lambert, one of the Latitude sophistication this time is to track the location of storage, which allows users to see again the places they have visited so far. In addition, Latitude is also now equipped with warning systems to alert the nearest location of friends who also use the Latitude.

List of sites you have visited there in feature called Location History. This feature can be seen on Google Earth, Google Maps, or play back in the user’s GPS device.

Later these two features will complement each other. This means, Location Alerts will be used if assisted by Location History. Unfortunately, Location Alerts are still made in the beta format.
