Smart Telecom will launch the Blackberry product line of non-GSM to Indonesia. Thus, Smart became the fifth operator after Telkomsel, Indosat, XL, and Axis offering BlackBerry services in Indonesia.
Blackberry Smart product launch is claimed as the first BlackBerry service network based on Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). It was seen from the themes that will be carried on its inaugural launch, the “Experiencing the First CDMA-Based BlackBerry Smartphone in Indonesia”
Officially, the new Smart will launch a ‘weapon’ in his new Monday (2/11/2009) at Plaza Indonesia.
Previously, Smart had long been rumored to be soon launched CDMA Blackberry. As a player at 1900Mhz Frequency Smart Telecom is known to continue to focus on data services, so that confidence brings Blackberry CDMA Smart accounted worthy.
So far known to some types of CDMA Blackberry, among others, Curve 8330, Curve 8830, and 9630 Tour.
