Every year millions of us are lucky enough to consider an upgrade of our Smartphone, to keep in touch with the evolving technology, which nowadays moves at quite a pace. Through this time we can often get so wrapped up in the new phone we are going to receive that we don´t stop to think for a moment what to do with the old one. I would like to offer some advice that will lead to two great beneficiaries when you upgrade a Smartphone or cell phone to keep up to date with technology, yourself and the environment.

Firstly, many people do one of the two greatest mistakes that can be done when you upgrade your Smartphone; put the phone in the drawer to gather dust and clutter you’re a storage space, or even worse throw it to the trash. We will discuss the effect of the second of these shortly, but first it has to be said that when you upgrade to a newer Smartphone there is money to be made from the old phone, meaning a great benefit for you, and an upgraded Smartphone at a discounted price.

The number of phones, including Smartphones that are dumped in to landfills each years is astonishing, and growing, however you can play your part in being green and helping the environment whilst getting paid for it and enjoy your Smartphone upgrade knowing you got your new phone for a great price and helped the planet – If everybody that upgraded their Smartphone was to do this we could make a tremendous impact on the e-waste issues with just this method, so please be sure to spread the word to your friends and colleagues.

The process is simple and can be done before, or during your Smartphone upgrade, from the comfort of your own home you just visit a website, fill out some simple forms and they send you the packaging to return your old Smartphone – free of charge, they cover all costs of packaging, shipping and insurance (providing you select the correct company to trade with). I recommend a site that deals with just Smartphone trades, this way you know you are getting a dedicated service from a professional team, and this for sure, will make your Smartphone upgrade an easy and enjoyable experience.

So when you upgrade your Smartphone don´t let the old one sit and gather dust, or release harmful toxins into our planet, be constructive, be economic, be green, and most importantly, be paid for it. Visit www.cashforsmartphones.com and see just how simple it is to turn your old phone into cash to reimburse you for your recent or upcoming Smartphone upgrade.

Following on from the other 8-Series Blackberry phones such as the 8110, 8120, 8310 and 8820 the new 8900 offers a very similar exterior design with a slim build and wide spread incorporating the trademarked Blackberry keyboard, however the new 8900 packs a serious punch when it comes to technology and features.

The Blackberry Curve 8900 offers GPS satellite navigation technology alongside Blackberry Maps for route finding, places of interest and journey planning whilst on the move, with the simply addition of an in-car phone holder the Blackberry 8900 becomes a sophisticated Sat-Nav system to rival many of the best stand alone models.

Also present is WiFi technology for fast, wireless internet connections whilst out and about, users can connect to email, surf the net and connect with a range of compatible devices for data transfer, the only communication technology missing fromt he new Blackberry 8900 Curve is 3G, however WiFi should take care of most situations whilst EDGE technology over WLAN will also fill the hole.

The Blackberry 8900 offers the same specification camera as the touchscreen 9000 Storm at 3.2 megapixels and also incorporates a media player with a standard 3.5mm jack so that users can listen to their music through their own headphones rather than those supplied.

The BlackBerry 8900 Curve smartphone helps with a bigger more well-rounded mobile life, aimed primarily at business users the 8900 will also appeal to those who have prevously owned a Blackberry phone and are looking for an upgrade, it seems that once someone has gotten used to the unusual layout of the Blackberry keypads they find it very hard to return to the standard mobile phone keypad layout.

For those that are always on the go and who want to make life easier the BlackBerry Curve will help keep them connected to the people and information that matter. The impressive 2.4″ display screen opens up a captivating window and the full QWERTY keyboard makes communicating easy with one or two-thumb typing. Built for business capabilities like email conference calling and internet access the Blackberry 8900 has all a user needs to keep on top at work.

With built-in GPS capabilities and BlackBerry Maps the user gets text-based turn-by-turn directions to help them figure out where they are and how to get where they need to be.

The Blackberry 8900 has all the features a user could need and want at their fingertips with the flexibility and freedom to manage their busy lives and even have some fun along the way. Users can keep their finger on the pulse of what’s important to them, the stylish and classy BlackBerry 8900 Curve smartphone which is easy-to-use will suit many differing requirements from the most demanding mobile user.

Technology is an amazing thing. It constantly progresses. If you buy a new television set now, then in a few months or a year, the technology will be considered outdated.

It is hard to keep up with all of the options and developments with television technology, but if you have a base knowledge about LCD plasma TVs, then you will be ahead of the pack. Once you know the basics you will have a great start when it comes time to make your next TV purchase.

You may not care about the difference in technology between a cathode-ray television and the LCD plasma TVs. Most people really just care about the picture quality and the sound quality. It is not any wonder. A person can become mesmerized by the clear, crisp colors.

The smooth motions of the people on screen. The sound coming out of the speakers and you cannot forget about the slim design. But maybe knowing a little about the inner workings of these wonderful machines may be a good idea.

Each of the pixels in a new plasma flat screen television is controlled by individual specialized electronics. This technology allows for billions of colors. You get clear resolution, excellent picture color and no distortion, all while having a tv that is six inches thick.

Compare that to the huge, bulky models of the past. The kind of box that required three people to move it versus the plasma screen television that one person can carry.

The rage in technology during the 1980′s and early 1990′s was the big screen television. It stood about five feet tall and had a resolution that was atrocious. The picture, rather than looking sharp and crisp, was distorted and the colors were faded.

You do not have to sacrifice screen size in exchange for crystal clear picture and dynamic colors. You can get a 60 inch Plasma tv! It is big enough to feed your tv or gaming habit and still give you enough room in your living room for some furniture.

LCD plasma TVs are still relatively expensive when you consider the non-plasma or LCD models. But as more come out in production, the price will begin to fall. For a typical 30 inch plasma television, you can expect to pay around $800, depending on where you purchase.

Larger screens will naturally be more expensive and can easily top the $1500 mark. Much of the price depends on the size, model and where you buy your electronics. Larger retail stores will often be your best location.
