Technology is an amazing thing. It constantly progresses. If you buy a new television set now, then in a few months or a year, the technology will be considered outdated.

It is hard to keep up with all of the options and developments with television technology, but if you have a base knowledge about LCD plasma TVs, then you will be ahead of the pack. Once you know the basics you will have a great start when it comes time to make your next TV purchase.

You may not care about the difference in technology between a cathode-ray television and the LCD plasma TVs. Most people really just care about the picture quality and the sound quality. It is not any wonder. A person can become mesmerized by the clear, crisp colors.

The smooth motions of the people on screen. The sound coming out of the speakers and you cannot forget about the slim design. But maybe knowing a little about the inner workings of these wonderful machines may be a good idea.

Each of the pixels in a new plasma flat screen television is controlled by individual specialized electronics. This technology allows for billions of colors. You get clear resolution, excellent picture color and no distortion, all while having a tv that is six inches thick.

Compare that to the huge, bulky models of the past. The kind of box that required three people to move it versus the plasma screen television that one person can carry.

The rage in technology during the 1980′s and early 1990′s was the big screen television. It stood about five feet tall and had a resolution that was atrocious. The picture, rather than looking sharp and crisp, was distorted and the colors were faded.

You do not have to sacrifice screen size in exchange for crystal clear picture and dynamic colors. You can get a 60 inch Plasma tv! It is big enough to feed your tv or gaming habit and still give you enough room in your living room for some furniture.

LCD plasma TVs are still relatively expensive when you consider the non-plasma or LCD models. But as more come out in production, the price will begin to fall. For a typical 30 inch plasma television, you can expect to pay around $800, depending on where you purchase.

Larger screens will naturally be more expensive and can easily top the $1500 mark. Much of the price depends on the size, model and where you buy your electronics. Larger retail stores will often be your best location.

Most people have heard of the LCD plasma TV technology. It is a craze that is sweeping the world and is considered by some to be the only way to watch television or play video games. Those older, bulkier models just will not cut it anymore.

This is a time of technology and of people demanding better quality in their viewing. If you have not had a chance to check out one of these flat screen televisions, then you are doing yourself a huge disservice.

Whether you purchase a Samsung TV or a Sony HDTV plasma television, you are part of a growing trend. Many people are trading in their old, bulky television sets in favor of the new slimmer models. Remember those big screen televisions that took up most of the living room? Forget about those archaic relics!

They offered up distorted pictures and faded colors. LCD and plasma televisions blast those antiques away by offering up new technology that spares owners the distortion. Monday night football never looked so good when viewed on this new phenomenon.

Okay, so an LCD plasma TV is a bit more expensive than what you paid for your old telly. However, if you remember back, then you may realize that the price differences are pretty small. At the time, larger screen televisions could easily sell for $500.

Today you can own flat screen televisions for as little as $628 if you catch them on sale. Wal-Mart offers an RCA LCD HDTV for that price. It is 32″ and has a built-in DVD player. You’re getting a two for one deal.

Some people do not believe in buying their products or merchandise at big name retail stores because they want to support their local businesses. This is commendable and there needs to be a concerted effort to save local businesses. However, the downfall of shopping at local “Mom and Pop” stores is that they may not have the selection you want and if they do have the right Samsung TV or Panasonic plasma TV, then you are going to pay more.

Get rid of that dull old television set that is taking up so much room! An LCD plasma TV will change how you watch movies or play video games. You can go a step farther by purchasing cable or satellite packages that offer HDTV. The difference between regular cable or satellite and high definition is astonishing. Jump into the craze and see what you have been missing.

A friend of mine swore that he just can’t stay a day without the benefits of Digital TV. It’s not surprising why this is so — with the hundreds of various channels to choose from. Aside from the many channels that Digital TV has, there are lots of other reasons why it’s preferred than Cable TV.

One of the reasons is the fact that you can watch your favourite channels and get access to information. Lots of channels now exist on Digital TV — from move channels to information channels. Who says children are left out of the wonder of Digital TV?

Gone are the days of spending so much money before you can watch more than a few channels… all thanks to the introduction of Digital TV. Subscribers can easily pay for Digital TV subscription than they can pay for Cable TV. This is one of the aspects that have lots of people stunned. More should cost more, not less.

Why should you continue to pay much more for Cable TV when you can pay less and receive more? Ask any lover of Digital TV and they will confess to you that their greatest love for the technology isn’t just the name – Digital TV – but the variety of channels they are now presented with. Digital TV can’t be compared to any other at the moment — with their comedy channels, movie channels, information channels, music channels, etc, you have a lot to choose from. Cable TV certainly can’t compare with Digital TV in this regard.

This is all well and good but what practical difference to our lives does all of this make as far as the Fujitsu P50XHA40 Digital TV is concerned.

The P50XHA40 is a 50in Plasma TV and currently these TV’s can be found for 5000 pounds sterling or 10000 US dollars. The screen resolution is 1366 X 768 and with regards to being HD Ready the answer is yes. The Fujitsu has none scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the P50XHA40 uses is HDMI / DVI 1/1. The type of Tuner for this TV is not required and the Fujitsu is available from limited outlets only.

So how would we rate the Fujitsu P50XHA40?

Well to start with our score for the picture quality is 10, next we would look at the sound quality and our view of this would be 8. Another useful aspect to review is the availability and number of relevant connections and our score here would be 6. If we take a look at the overall “featureability” our score would be 8 and for ease of use and overall value for money we would give it, 6 and 8 respectively.

The overall verdict would be this is one of Fujitsus oldest hi definition Plasma Big Screeen TV’s. On first takes, this piece of equipment widly impressive, its not ugly but just isn’t necessarily beautiful either. Given its distinct lack of connectivity I presume the Fujitsu philospohy is that if you’ve got the cash to pay for this type of equipment then you are not going to think trwice about getting top of the range peripherals for it either. On the massive plus side is that the picture qualities are excellent with excellence all round on the visual front. As one commentator said “this is Plasma TV at its best”.

It is extremely unlikely given the variety and range of makes and models available that you will not be able to find something to match your tastes or budget. You could be completely avant-garde and stay in the forefront of fashion and design or you could decide to take perhaps the safer option and go for one of the established makes and models available. Either way we hope that by reading this short article you should have a slightly more informed view of the options available to you

With regards to the prices in this article we have tried in all cases to take an average across the industry from a number of well known web sites and so we ask you to bear this in mind and treat these prices as advisory only rather than absolutes.

Televisions are now an integral part of our day to day life in this telecommunication era. However, nowadays people demand better quality of viewing, because of which the scope of televisions is increasing day by day, and so are the technologies in use. With the exponential growth in technology, the "chunky rectangles" have been replaced by sleek and slender televisions; that too with smart and intelligent features. Many innovative and revolutionary techniques have been incorporated in the modern televisions to make them user friendly, smart and competent.

Most people have heard of the LCD/Plasma TV technology. It is a craze that is sweeping the world. Plasma TVs are widely popular, due to the advantages they offer. The plasma screens have an excellent contrast background and therefore are very appropriate for watching movies as you experience the enjoyment of a home theatre. You can watch your television from different angles when you are watching the plasma TV. Plasma screens are very shallow, usually the screen will take up about 2 inches, and the entire TV or finished screen will be just a few inches deep. This means that your TV takes up very little room, and is easily mounted on a wall.

Plasma screens can also come in extra large sizes. The largest plasma screen in the world is 103 inches across. You can easily buy plasma screens up to about 65 inches. It is now a multi-faceted, versatile gadget that can switch into a big screen for viewing the data from other memory devices or gadgets like digital cameras or camcorders.

No doubt, plasma TV is a bit more expensive than what you paid for your old television. However, if you consider the new features and quality it offers, then you may realize that the price differences are pretty small. So, get rid of that dull old television set that is taking up so much room. An LCD/plasma TV will change how you watch movies or play video games.

Radio Parts Group, one of the leading electronic component suppliers of Australia offers the best quality LCD/Plasma TVs for your home and office at very affordable prices.
